ICNA Center Project
ICNA Resource Center & Food Bank needs a new premise for its operations.
We are seeking donations and help from the community. Please contribute generously to this cause.
Allah says in the Quran: “Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? (Qur’an, 2: 245)
Our Story:
ICNA Resource Center & Food Bank, Surrey BC, under the auspices of ICNA Vancouver, has been serving the community since 2011, as part of a network of Islamic resource centers and food banks run by the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), Canada – a federally registered charitable organization engaged in humanitarian relief and social development programs, serving Canadians since 1970.
By the grace of Almighty Allah SWT and concerted efforts of the dedicated volunteers, ICNA Resource Center & Food Bank in Surrey has tried to serve the needs of the community regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, and social status.

ICNA Resource Center & Food Bank in Surrey BC successfully operated from rental premises and has paid over CAD $240,000.00 for rent so far, since its inception, however, the Unit has been recently sold by the owner, and operations were shifted to new constrained premises.
In the wake of the increasing need for community-based social development and welfare programs, and our desire to further expand our engagement and outreach programs, and constraints around space availability, and increasing rents the team of committed volunteers has set upon themselves to purchase dedicated premises for the ICNA Resource Center & Food Bank.
Our vision for the new Resource Center & Food Bank is to be able to provide welfare programs across lower mainland BC including but not limited to:
– Foodbank
– Youth Development
– Seniors Support
– Family Counseling
– Refugee Sponsorship and Settlement,
– Supporting ICNA Relief Canada’s international projects:
– Disaster and Emergency Relief
– Water for Life
– Orphan Sponsorship
– Women Shelter –
– Educational and Healthcare Relief, etc.
We are now reaching out to our generous patrons, community members, and donors, to seek help in realizing this vision and raise enough funds for this noble cause. Your generous donation and invaluable contribution will go a long way towards achieving our objective to better serve the community, expand our outreach programs and take our efforts to the next threshold, essential for an exemplary society.
We thank you in advance for all your generous donations and support towards this cause and pray that may Allah SWT increase your halal earnings, add barakah in your rizq and reward you immensely herein and hereafter. Amen.
Sincerely,
ICNA Vancouver
